The recent study of Trumpia customers reflects that nearly 20 percent are using QR Code marketing. The data also reflects that these customers chose to make QR Code marketing a priority within nine months of their Multi-Channel Marketing program roll-out.
In addition, nearly 40 percent of the top 20 Trumpia users who engage a potential customer with a simple QR Code scan are successfully turning this initial touch point into a mobile marketing database opt-in opportunity.
The research further reflects that a majority of Trumpia users who are using QR Codes are counting on the two-dimensional bar codes to help them build a greater Facebook fan base. With most QR Code scans, these Trumpia users are leading people to join or Like them on the popular social media site. In this way, they are coordinating their SMS text messaging and QR Code marketing efforts with their social media marketing.
